Vibe coding has become shorthand for using AI to generate software from natural language prompts. The model produces code, the developer reviews it, makes a few adjustments, and iterates until it works. For many software projects, this is an effective way to accelerate development because defects can usually be corrected with another build, another deployment, or a rollback.

Medical device patch management is the focus of Gluware IoMT Exposure Management, a new solution from Gluware Inc. that takes a published vulnerability all the way to an approved, documented fix. The platform matches common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) to the specific devices affected, identifies the patches that apply and executes the changes through the hospital’s own approval and audit processes.

Network automation has proven its ability to deliver substantial business value, yet many network teams still struggle to demonstrate visible results. Investments in device integrations and automation foundations create continuing maintenance obligations that consume the engineering capacity needed to address AI-driven threats, preserve continuity, sustain compliance, and support growth. This white paper examines the gap between the outcomes businesses want and where teams invest, and explains how to build above the value line on a maintained platform foundation. Drawing on Terracon’s experience and enterprise research, it shows how network automation can steadily accumulate measurable business value and earn continued executive support.

Companies want agents doing real work on their networks. They also know what a bad network change can cost. Before they hand over control, they need confidence that the work is right, that it follows their operating rules, and that they can verify the outcome.

In April, NIST changed how the National Vulnerability Database works. It now enriches only CVEs in CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, CVEs that affect federal government software, and CVEs in critical software as defined under Executive Order 14028. Everything else is marked “Lowest Priority” and is not scheduled for enrichment, including the backlog from before March 1. NIST cites volume as the reason, since submissions grew 263% between 2020 and 2025.
