Use Data Explorer to create customized templates to generate reports with the data you need to identify security issues and vulnerabilities. In this video, we look at an example report that provides the operating system versions deployed and the related security advisories issued by the vendor.
Sub-optimal performance is often caused by misconfigured or inconsistently configured devices. This video shows how Data Explorer enables users to report to verify Port, Layer 2, and Layer 3 configuration consistency and operational state.
The Data Explorer solution is powered by direct access to the underlying databases within the users Gluware instance enabling the ability to assess network information faster. In this video, learn how it has access to the data from each Gluware app and how users can create custom default reports for each app as well as leverage the created report templates from each app once created.
Gluware 4.1 – Accelerate Multi-Vendor Network Automation – Watch the video to learn about: Enhanced usability and security, new data-driven insights powered by Dashboards and Data Explorer, also expanded multi-vendor and multi-domain support.
This use-case will demonstrate how Gluware provides a layer of automation through API for Cisco Meraki. Meraki Organizations, Networks and Device Parameters can be edited and automated at scale.
Presented by Michael Haugh, VP Product Marketing and Olivier Huynh Van, CSO and Co-Founder at Gluware. Recorded at Tech Field Day Exclusive at Cisco Live Global 2021 on April 5, 2021.

Gluware 4.0 integrates syslog messages to notify the user when a config change (syslog type 5) has been performed on a network device.
You can roll your own network automation: some Ansible, some Python, a little digging into vendor APIs. Add a lot of persistence and a human or two that commit themselves to making your homegrown network automation work…and hey, maybe you’ve got something. Or maybe you end up with a fragmented set of tools and a motley collection of scripts and playbooks that help save some time and reduce error count, but it’s not a system. A better approach may be an integrated network automation system that works with other infrastructure tools in your org that lets you apply a DevOps workflow to network device management. You’ll also want version control, golden configs, a review process, and so on.
This episode gets practical with infrastructure-as-code with Gluware guests Olivier Huynh Van, Chief Science Officer and Co-Founder; and Michael Haugh, VP of Product Marketing.
