Our mission is to accelerate the development of customized infrastructure automation solutions by enabling rapid integration and tailored use-case deployment with Gluware.
Gluware Lab IDE
Accelerate Automation with Minimal Coding
Designed for users with basic scripting skills, the low-code Gluware Lab IDE provides a powerful framework for rapid automation development. It dramatically reduces the need for complex coding while maximizing efficiency and customization.
Built on the widely adopted Eclipse framework, the Gluware Lab IDE features a modular architecture that seamlessly integrates Gluware plug-ins alongside open-source and Eclipse plug-ins. This flexible environment enables users to quickly create and test custom workflows, features, and Network RPA tasks.
Developers work with JTYPES—an annotated, JSON-based data modeling language—and JNIB, a simplified form of JavaScript for defining business logic. There’s no need for front-end expertise: the IDE includes an embedded UI form generator that lets users build and deploy forms directly within Lab or publish them to Gluware.
Back-end complexity is also eliminated. All data is automatically stored within the Gluware platform, with full CRUD operations managed by the Gluware engine. Data models and instances are version-controlled by default, and Lab offers native integration with external code repositories, supporting seamless collaboration and source management.
Visual Studio Code (VS Code) Extensions
Gluware Labs is extending development support to popular IDEs, including Visual Studio Code (VS Code), through dedicated extensions that allow users to develop, test, and publish Gluware JTYPES seamlessly into Gluware Control production environments.
VS Code Extensions will be made available later this year.
GenAI Development Co-Pilot
Gluware Labs continues to innovate with GenAI-powered Co-Pilot for NetDevOps. This new offering is the second Gluware.ai product. The AI co-pilot for operators was released with Gluware 5.5 in early 2025. The Dev AI Co-Pilot leverages generative AI that is trained on Gluware data modeling and business logic to exponentially accelerate do-it-yourself (DIY) network automation coding by up to 100X, empowering teams to build better intelligent network automation faster than ever before.
GluAPI RESTful API
In today’s complex IT environments, network management and automation platforms must integrate seamlessly with a wide array of enterprise systems—from monitoring tools and configuration management solutions to workflow automation platforms. Recognizing this critical requirement, Gluware provides GluAPI, a fully documented and published RESTful API.
GluAPI empowers enterprises to programmatically access Gluware’s powerful automation and orchestration capabilities, enabling tighter integration with existing infrastructure and IT workflows. By exposing key services—such as Device Manager, Config Drift and Audit, and other core functionality—GluAPI gives organizations the flexibility to extend Gluware’s capabilities, accelerate time-to-value, and enhance operational efficiency across the network lifecycle.
With GluAPI, enterprise buyers gain a scalable, future-proof foundation for building a more automated, agile, and resilient network operations environment.
Network RPA
Gluware Network Robotic Process Automation (Network RPA) empowers enterprise network teams to design, execute, and monitor sophisticated no-code workflows through an intuitive, web-based interface within Gluware Control. Seamlessly integrated with Gluware’s suite of intelligent network automation applications, Network RPA enables efficient and scalable process automation without the need for scripting.
Designed specifically for network engineers and operators, Network RPA supports the orchestration of end-to-end automation processes across a wide range of operational use cases — including moves, adds, changes, and deletes (MACD), compliance assessments, fault remediation, OS upgrades, and configuration management.
Users benefit from an extensive library of pre-built task-level operations derived from the Gluware application suite, as well as integrations with external systems such as IT Service Management (ITSM), sources of truth (SoT), monitoring platforms, and Syslog. The task library continues to expand, incorporating both native Gluware capabilities and third-party integrations — including those powered by the open-source StackStorm ecosystem and RESTful APIs — enabling enterprises to build robust, scalable, and adaptive automation solutions. Pre-built tasks include the ability to run Ansible playbooks, SSH into hosts and run scripts and make native API calls.
Network RPA can also be highly customized with the ability to build custom tasks using the Gluware Lab IDE.
Network RPA Template Builder
The Network RPA Template Builder is a streamlined environment designed for developing, testing, and refining LiquidJS templates within the Gluware Network RPA application. It enables users to automatically generate context from workflows, build and edit the template, significantly reducing manual effort and minimizing errors.
By seamlessly integrating LiquidJS templating, the platform empowers users to build, preview, and optimize complex templates with greater accuracy and speed. This enhances productivity, shortens development cycles, and simplifies onboarding for new users. With a focus on usability and efficiency, the RPA Playground accelerates workflow automation, enabling teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results at scale.
Ansible Collection
Gluware seamlessly complements Ansible for network automation by bringing enhanced visibility, control, and scalability to enterprise environments. With Gluware’s Ansible plugin, inventory files are dynamically generated, and variables can be passed with ease—streamlining playbook execution across complex networks.
The Gluware inventory plugin enables users to dynamically build Ansible inventory files for use with playbooks. Additionally, Gluware’s dedicated Ansible module integrates powerful features like Config Drift and Audit, enabling organizations to verify exactly what changes a playbook made and whether the network remains compliant with policy. This ensures reliable, policy-aware automation at scale—bridging the gap between open-source flexibility and enterprise-grade governance.
Code Repo Integration
As infrastructure increasingly shifts toward an “as-code” model, enterprise network teams are seeking ways to adopt software development best practices in their network management workflows. Integrating with code repositories is a key enabler of this transformation, offering powerful capabilities such as version control, team collaboration, centralized access and backup, issue tracking, CI/CD integration, and more.
Gluware supports this evolution by allowing users to store selected instances, such as audits and configuration policies, in a local Git repository for robust version control. Additionally, users can push these changes to remote Git repositories like GitHub or Bitbucket, enabling seamless integration into enterprise DevOps processes.
