The introduction of Gluware at Terracon in 2019 was a game-changer. The team was able to standardize configuration and OS versions across their 120+ locations. Implementation of configuration changes dwindled down to a few hours in a single night. This freed up man-hours for more proactive projects, including further implementing features in Gluware. Overall, automating with Gluware allowed Terracon to increase locations by over 50%, do a complete network stack refresh and move to SD-WAN, and decrease findings on the annual cybersecurity insurance audit from over 30 to 9. This was all done while only adding a single team member that was dedicated to firewall management.
